New office in Hermia, Tampere

Havuja has moved its office to new, larger premises at Hermiankatu 6–8 E in Hervanta, Tampere.

Hermia is one of Finland’s best-known technology hubs, home to engineering companies, startups and research teams, and right next to Tampere University’s Hervanta campus. For a company working at the intersection of optics, robotics and test automation, it’s the right neighborhood: close to the university, close to the region’s photonics and technology community, and easy for customers and partners to reach.

The move gives our growing team room to work. Design, engineering and software development now happen in Hermia, with space for project work, customer meetings and the day-to-day collaboration that complex system projects depend on.

We haven’t left Rusko Laser Valley behind. Our workshop and assembly facilities remain there, so systems are still built, integrated and tested a short drive from the office. The split lets us keep engineering and hands-on build close together, from the first concept to a system ready to ship.

Moving week came with the usual back strains and a few days of “first come, first served” on chairs and desks while the furniture caught up. Now we’re settled in, and the door is open.

If you’re in Tampere, come and visit us at Hermiankatu 6–8 E.
