A milestone for Havuja: we have shipped our first production systems overseas. Multiple test and calibration stations, designed and built by our team in Tampere, have been crated, shipped and delivered to a customer’s production facility.
Less than a year ago, Havuja was three founders in a garage. Since then, the team has grown, moved into new premises, and taken these stations from concept to delivery: optical design, precision mechanics, motion and machine vision, software and system integration, all done in-house. Every station runs on Havuja Runko, our own platform for precision motion, machine vision, optical measurement and calibration. Runko is what lets us start each customer project from proven building blocks instead of a blank page, and move from specification to a production-ready system in months rather than years.
Shipping is only half of the job. Our engineers are now on site at the customer’s factory for installation, bring-up and qualification, with more of the team joining them over the coming weeks. Getting systems running reliably on a real production line, next to the people who will use them every day, is where our experience of taking optical metrology from R&D to volume manufacturing pays off.
A big thank you to the whole team for the long days, careful work and late-night packing sessions that got us here, and to our customer for the trust.
This is the first delivery, not the last. If you’re scaling a new optical device toward production and need test and calibration you can rely on, we’d like to hear about it.
