Havuja has been selected for Cohort 1 of the Finland Global Startup Accelerator at Tech Hub Finland, powered by Plug and Play.

Tech Hub Finland is a new open innovation platform in Tampere, launched by the City of Tampere, Plug and Play and the industrial companies Normet and Sandvik. Its goal is to accelerate industrial renewal by connecting large industrial companies, startups, investors and research organizations, so that new technologies move faster from development into real use. Through Plug and Play, the hub also opens access to a global network of more than 100,000 startups and 550 corporate partners.

The hub was officially launched on 29 September 2026 at Tampere Hall, opened by Finland’s Minister of Economic Affairs Sakari Puisto. We pitched there alongside the rest of Cohort 1: Awake.AI, CeLLife Technologies, FurnaQuantum, IOXIO, Quanscient, RESONIKS, Sensible 4 and spogen.ai.

For Havuja, the program is a natural fit. Our core competences in precision motion, machine vision, optical metrology and automation are exactly the kind of technologies industrial companies need as they automate and modernize their operations. Through the accelerator, we’re looking for corporate pilots with industrial partners and introductions to international customers, especially in the US.

The selection comes at a busy time. In recent weeks we have shipped multiple systems to customers overseas, and our engineers are on site supporting system bring-up at a customer’s factory, with more of the team joining them over the coming weeks.

And there’s more to come: we have a few bigger announcements in the works for the coming months. Stay tuned.
